I have always enjoyed exploring simple forms defined by the intersection of straight lines. My challenge has been to present fine craft pieces, both classic and original, in a way that is generally appealing and yet evokes a personal response. My original concern for function has gradually been replaced with expression of form.

Although I work mostly with wood because of its universal appeal and endless variations, I often incorporate weathered metal, anodized aluminum and found objects into the pieces as a way of complementing and drawing attention to the basic shapes.

My work to date includes open and closed vessels, conceptual pieces, and wall sculptures.
